Lizbette Ocasio-Russe is a Puerto Rican author who currently works as an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at Southern New Hampshire University. She completed her PhD in Humanities at the University of Texas at Dallas. She received her BA in Journalism and minor in Creative Writing from New York University and her MA in English Literature from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras campus. She was the graduate editor of the University of Puerto Rico’s literary magazine and acted as both the translation and non-fiction editor for Reunion: The Dallas Review during the 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 academic years, respectively. Lizbette was also Senior Co-Editor of The Switchgrass Review Vol. 6 in 2023.
